My fiance had his interview for the K-1 visa yesterday. Had to wait quite a long time - he was there before 8am and didn't have the actual screening for the interview until around noon.
There was some confusion at the screening desk, as the Indonesian screener was insisting he should have a form 230 (which he actually did not need). Apparently she was quite unfriendly about it. She gave him one to fill out manually, which he did. However, when the consular officer met with him, he also confirmed that the 230 was not necessary for the K-1 visa, as the same information is covered by the DS 157. The consular officer informed the screener that she had been incorrect.
Actual interview was quite short - he asked about how me and my fiance met, why we didn't get married in Indonesia (I was working as a researcher in the country at the time we met), and what kind of plans we had for the wedding. That was about it!
But happily he'll be going back to pick up his visa in a few days
