Review Topic: K1 Visa

This review is for the Embassy in GUAYAQUIL for the K-1 Visa interview
7:35 am we were at the gate (no line no waiting) and went straight to security check. WE didnt have any problems at the security check and they let us thru DOOR 1. (No coins, no cell phones, nothing electronic). We went straight to the second floor which was quiet. Make sure not to bring anything but your documents.
9:00 am Someone comes upstairs and gives a speech about what to do and asked us to stand up to take the oath. He explains about what to do during and after the interview.
9:30 am They call our name and we go to Window 5, Ecuadorian lady (she returns some documents from the initial application-bank statements financial documents)asks for *Birth Certificate *Passport & Pictures *DS-156, DS-156K & $131 Receipt *Medical Records (she took the envelope only, not the Xrays) *Evidence for Relationship - We gave her the Skype conversations, Emails, pictures, ATT cellphone statements, Porta cellphone statements, Mailed envelopes, money gram receipts. (She was there just to get the paperwork, no smiles or no conversation-very strict- she asked to sign the DS-156K form and she didnt even give my fiance her pen to sign the form)
9: 35 am The lady sends us to Window 10 to get the fingerprints. (it takes 1 minute to get the fingerprints and we go back upstairs)
10:00 am Our name is called again to Window 1. Wow the same guy with his funny jokes is at the window. Apparently he knew the case so he only asked us about our engagement (it was a religios ceremony and he wanted to know if it was official) we said that it is not official but it is to let the people know that we are committed. His second question was when we are planning to get married and our response was ASAP. He said \"Nice Pictures and by looking at the phone calls i think it is cheaper to bring her to the US\" (i think it was one of those jokes but he was nice- my fiance told me that his speech and his jokes made her relax and he was very sincere). He gave us the paper to take to the DHL office and said \"Esta aprovado, go to DHL\" (He didnt speak one word of English so I dont know if he was American or Ecuadorian). He returned most of the documents and pictures back to us. We asked him about the police record because they didnt take the police record and he said that we will give it to officials in the US. This whole thing (interview) took around 3 minutes, and we left the Embassy to go to the DHL. We were outside around 10:05 am.
My rating is 4 because i didnt feel 100% satisfied. The guard was acting like I am a prisoner and he was like YOU MUST GO UPSTAIRS.
