here\'s my interview experience:

my interview was set for March 16, 2010 at 8:30am.. got there at 6:15am.. proceeded at gate 2, followed the blue arrows and on to the visa immigrants unit.. fell in line at the ticket booth.. the lady here was nice.. she ask me about my passport, told her St. Luke\'s have it.. then gave me my number.. then after about 10mins, my name was called for finger scanning (the lady here asked my name and my birthday).. then i went back to my seat and waited for my number to be flashed to have the pre screening interview.. you have to pay attention to the numbers at the board so you won\'t miss your turn.. i was observing the pre screeners and i don\'t really know why but i was really anticipating to be called by the guy pre screener at window 19.. while the guy was flipping through some documents, i noticed that the paper he was holding was the photocopy of my passport biographic data page, and then i saw the file of pics my husband sent to the USCIS.. i knew at that moment that my number will be flashed at his window.. and it did (that was around 7:45am).. i proceeded to the window and i must say he was very nice and accomodating.. he had me signed the part II of the DS230 we sent to the NVC.. then i was asked these random questions:

1. whats my name?
2. date of birth?
3. who is my petitioner?
4. when did we get married?
5. is this your first marriage? (i said yes)
6. when did we meet?
7. how did we meet? (told him we were classmates in highschool then he said we\'re the same, because his wife is also his classmate in highschool )
8. how and when did my husband get to the US?
9. when was he naturalized? (when i answered this, he said \"swak na swak ang sagot a\":D funny)
10. when was the last time we saw each other?
11. will this be your first travel outside PI?

he ask for my cemar, cards, emails, remittances and pictures.. then he said there is no problem with my AOS.. while flipping through my file, he said \'your file is thick, looks like your hubby put all that is needed in here\' :D .. then he told me to just present the other docs i have at the final interview just in case the consul asks for it.. i thanked him then went back to my seat..

i sat down again and waited for the final interview.. by 8am consuls were already in their respective rooms.. and numbers began flashing one by one at the board.. my number flashed at around 9:15am at room 31.. the consul here was a bald, somewhat chubby american guy.. he was softspoken.. he had me raised my right hand to swear.. then he ask me just a few questions:

1. my name
2. date of birth
3. who was my petitioner?
4. when did we get married?
5. have i been married before?
6. have i traveled outside the Philippines?
7. my husband\'s job?

he browsed my cards, emails, remittances and pictures.. then told me \"i see no problem about your papers, you are approved! congratulations!\".. i said thank you and then he told me to wait again outside for the releasing..

(actually while the consul was looking at my docs and evidences, i noticed that there was already a stamped \"approved\" on top of my documents from the NVC.. :D )

my name was called at window 37, the girl handed me the very famous pink slip ( visa delivery fee payment slip).. then she instructed me to fill out the form for air 21 and pay for the delivery fee..

i was out of USEM by 10am.. all in all the experience was ok!.. i wasn\'t given a hard time.. well glad i\'m done! what a day! Thank God!
