Very typical start as others have mentioned, she arrived at 6:30am and they let in the "mob" at 7:15am. She was called for paperwork, given a number, called for fingerprints, and then finally called up for her VO interview. The entire interview lasted about two minutes from what Yi says. Maybe it was longer and the pressure cause time dilation in her mind, but she says only about five questions were asked. The only question, really a more confirmation, was if Yi was aware that I had not completed my divorce when we had initially met. She, of course, was completely aware and stated so. The VO asked if she knew I had children, she asked when I visited, where Yi learned to speak English so well, and finally how we communicate. At this point Yi tried to hand over our chat logs and the VO said "no, no, I don't need to see. You are approved...." Wha???? All of that work on EOR letters, financial supplements, chat logs, additional pics, practicing a hundred different possible interview questions....and they don't want any of it...hahahaha. Karma. She was then given her Pink (orangish) and told to go take care of delivery. Simple, fast, piece of cake. Yi said she saw a lot of blues being given out. She also said that there was a terrible rumor going around that if your VO was african-american that you would get blue...which made no sense because her VO was a nice african-american woman. I guess sometimes I forget how people can be judgemental. Yi says that everything was smooth and professional, no bumps alon g the way.
