The experience in dealing with them at the K1 visa interview was just bad.
They were just not satisfied with the number of pictures,emails or any other evidence. We were issued a 221g and even though we supplied everything mentioned
in 221g, the petition was sent back to the USCIS.
Instead of fighting to get the petition reaffirmed, we got married and filed
for new CR1 visa. This time we were very well prepared and had every document
ready with loads of emails, pictures and travel/hotel receipts to support the
relationship. She still had to go through multiple interview sessions and questions. Some of the comments they made were offensive and disrespectful in nature. she was inside the building for more than 8 hours. However this
time the embassy staff looked more supportive and in the end they approved her
visa.
