Interview today, 2/4/2010..I guess it\'s true about GUZ...it SUCKS!!!  We were prepared, the officer even told my wife all the papers were in order but still given a blue slip!! She was told to \"wait for investigation\" WTF does that mean? Now she is on her way back to Chongqing in tears! No reason given for denial...I cannot believe my country treats its citizen\'s spouses in such a manner! It does appear these \"civil servants\" (great oxymoron!) have already made up their minds before the interview...why bother with them, save us $131 and send the blue slip in the mail!! I will write my congressman and FAX a letter to the GUZ embassy Chief, but from what I have read here, it would be for naught! Any suggestions?
I need to get specifics from my wife as to what happened and how the interview went, she was too upset to give me the details, so I may be overreacting since I just learned the results tonight. More to come I\'m sure...it ain\'t over til it\'s over!! Still PO\'d though!!

Second trip to China (March 19 - 31, 2010)
Appointment with VO in AM to discuss blue slip; no help there as they do not allow additional input post interview. PM meeting at ACH; talked with woman who was very sympathetic..she pulled case record and asked some questions re: relationship with wife, she indicated there was no problem with documents and that sometimes the interviewing officer will decide to "hold" decision. She said not to worry that it may take 2 months after first interview for "further review" and that we should hear from the visa center by mail sometime mid-April....we will see! Talked to security officer on my way out, she too was sympathethic and told me: "I see this situation alot, don't worry, your wife will get her visa". I'm glad they have such confidence and I will take them at their word!
