Tirana, Albania | Review on January 20, 2010: | Jake James
Rating: | Review Topic: K3 Visa
My wife went into the waiting room in the Tirana Embassy from 9 am to 11am. She provided the embassy with her documents and paid the fee at that time. They asked her to leave for an hour and said they would call her back. They called her back at 1 and after 10 minutes her named was called by the consular officer. She began the interview by swearing in. She then fingerprinted her. And here were the questions she asked in order:
Does your Husband speak Albanian?
In which Language do you communicate?
When was the last time your husband was in Albania?
How long have you known him?
How did you start to communicate with him?
Who introduced you with him, and when, and how?
Does your husband work and where?
Does your husband have a college?
Wasnt it early to marry him? (she asked it humorously - while looking at our pictures and IM conversations)
And how do you know you were compatible with him?
Can you describe your husband?
She said: Im really happy for you and asked if my wife was happy?
She then said ok and gave my wife a card with a number on it to receive her visa in two days.
I hope this helps and that you get this interviewer. She was very professional and warm with my wife. She was tried to make my wife feel comfortable.
The only complaint my had was that the waiting room was not heated and was so very cold at this time of year. They need heaters.
