Hi all. Paul was able to move our interview up to the 29th (8 am) when I was visiting which was great. We took the train down on Monday and made our way to the hotel which was not as close as it looked on the map.  It was in Kensington. But a very nice walk. The appt was at 8 am Tuesday so we checked the bus route, planned our trip and went to bed early. Luckily we did b/c at 2 am the next door neighbors at the hotel started talking loudly. After an hour we started banging on the wall and after another hour we called down to the hotel people and they came up and asked them to be quiet.  Next morning, we grabbed the bus and made our way down. Showed up at 7:30, got in line and made our way into the building. At 8 the individuals started raising their shades to help people. Lots and lots of N's, this must be for the student visa. Then booth 1's shade went up and we saw I851 - yay that is us. I think we ran over there in 2 sec flat. Paul provided his fingerprints. Because of how cold it was, it took multiple tries. She told him to rub his fingers on his head, face, clothes and try it again.  He gave her his police cert and a copy, birth cert and a copy, and photos. Also the 2008 tax return with the support form and the letter from my employer. She said all the other tax returns and tax transcripts will be needed for the AOS process. She also gave Paul his xray back. Told us to go pay and come back. Turned over our 131 US and brought back the receipt to her. She then asked us to sit back down and wait for our number to be called again. She was very nice and extremely organized. About 7 minutes later our number came up and we went back to where we paid but another booth. The gentleman swore Paul in. Asked where we met, when we got engaged, had Paul been married before, where we are going to live, when Paul plans to come over. We were both giddy. Then he said we were approved and Paul should expect to get his passport in 3-5 days and not to open the do not open envelope. We both said a little "awesome", then a thank you. Paid the courier and left the building. 40 minutes. Then went back to the hotel for a little nap before heading back to the train. Still can't believe we are done with this part. So wonderful.
