We had all our forms in order, and my husband was extremely polite. Our interviewer was rude, condescending, insulting, and absolutely refused to look at our evidence/documentation. She put us on AR, demanding I-864s instead of I-134s (even though they had asked for I-134s). Our visa had been expedited due to my serious medical condition, which she essentially made fun of. She called my husband "desperate", said that I "was old enough to be his mother", and at the end of the "interview" (in which my husband was not allowed to speak or submit our documents), said, "This interview is over. Now leave." It was a horrible, horrible experience and left us crushed. We had all our documents, they were organized and in order, and she did not even want to SEE them. She made a snap judgement based on age, was angry that our case had been expedited, and treated us with no respect, professionalism, or dignity.
