Anchorage AK | Review on November 11, 2009: | rlogan
Rating: | Review Topic: Adjustment of Status
We interviewed in Fairbanks, Alaska with an adjustment officer that rotates in from Anchorage for one week every two months or so.
She was professional, to the point, and quite sweet in fact. Once we went through the list of mandatory questions she asked my wife, she asked what we had, and it was an avalanche of material for her. So she was delighted and picked from a few things for her file.
We were there half an hour early and were walking out of the building three minutes before the appointment was supposed to begin. They did not have a copy of her marriage certificate, which we definitely sent, so we gave her the one we had in the glove compartment.
Their fingerprinting equipment was down so we had to drive 900 miles round trip to do it the next day in Anchorage where they have a permanent facility. So you can't give them a five.
What I rate them highly on was that she was a compassionate human that seemed genuinely interested in trying to help us complete our file.
