My husbands interview was on November 9th at 10am. He arrived wayyyyy before his interview time. The waiting area is arranged in a way that when the interviewer is interviewing, everyone waiting to be called can hear everything being asked. I guess they do that to intimidate people that are not sincere during their interview process. It's easier to lie in front of one person than a large group of people. I just hope none of you get the Asian lady, my husband said she was tough and didn't approve not one person while he was there waiting. My husband was interviewed by a white guy that was very good at what he did. My husband said he wasn't mean but he had a way of asking questions to ensure sincerity and was thorough. The questions are as follows but the interviewer elaborated a little on each with other small questions:
HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR WIFE?(know the exact chat room if any)
HOW LONG HAVE THE TWO OF YOU KNOWN EACH OTHER?
HOW MANY TIMES SHE CAME?
WHY HAVEN'T YOU GONE TO VISIT?(be wise in your answer)
WHAT DO SHE DO FOR A LIVING?(elaborate on duties and the name of company)
WHAT DOES HE DO FOR LIVING?
He then looked at the pictures and additional evidence my husband had and questioned those. My husband had a wedding album and a casual album. He questioned the different people. It's important to have call logs, not calling card invoices. They need to see that your phone number connected with dates. He also wanted to see emails. It is important to have actual emails that they can read. He had a few actual emails also the email logs over the years. If you have others that know your husband preferably those in leadership positions get a notarized letter from them. My Pastor has talked to my husband on various occasions and wrote a notarized letter for him with church letterhead. All my husbands evidence was reviewed. The interview was no more than 7 minutes.
My advice to everyone is be organized and know your facts and information. The interviewer job is not to approve everyone but to approve those who appear to be sincere with information to back it up. The beauty of my husbands experience is knowing that he didn't have to hide or manipulate anyone for the interviewer to see his true sincerity. The grace of God was with him and everything went exceedingly well.
