Interview was quite easy. My fiance had never received the packet stating the date of his interview. I randomly checked the embassy website only to find his case number listed with an interview date ten days later. After massive amounts of panicking, I bought airline tickets, got info together and headed to the appointment. I confirmed the date with the embassy over email and printed that sheet out, just in case. Our appointment was for 7:30am. We arrived at the embassy at 6:30am and were let in at 7am. We got in line and a woman took our papers. We then waited about 20 minutes and my fiance got his fingerprints taken. We then sat back down and waited about an hour and the woman called us up to review our papers. She asked my fiance when we met, when we started dating, and how we communicated (in Spanish, obviously). She then told us to sit down and wait for the interviewer to call us. We waited about 30 minutes and were called in. The woman who interviewed us was very nice and spoke perfect Spanish. She proceeded to ask my fiance a bunch of questions like how we met, to describe our relationship, when we started talking about getting married, what I had been doing in Honduras, what type of work I did now, where I lived, our plans for getting married, my birthday, etc. My fiance was a bit nervous and didn't forgot a lot of the answers. I chimed in every once in a while. The woman didn't seem to mind that his answers were perfect though. She then said that everything looked good and that he could return the following day at 4pm to pick up his visa. Success. We were very nervous about the interview, but in reality, it was very easy and smooth. Everyone at the embassy was nice and helpful. A great experience.
