Rating: | Review Topic: K1 Visa
My appointment letter indicated that my interview was arranged on Oct14,2009 7:15
7:10 I arrived and waited in the front of the building ( Tian Yu Garden), where already had hundred people waiting there
7:55 The security guys working for US Consulate started to let people get in the building after checking interviewee's appointment letter and passport
8:25 I was called to an assigned window to submit my documents and was asked by the Chinese lady who collected my docs Are you CCP? Have you been US? How many times? Why been to US so many times?...Have you been to HK, Macau or Taiwan?
8:40 Fingerprints
9:00 Oath
9:15 I was called up to an assigned window for interview. Wow, so early...I thought that I might be one of the first 10 people to get interviewed.
VO was a young American guy and looked quite nice. We greeted to each other and then I handed in my passport.
VO: Have you been to US?
ME: Yes, many times
He looked my visa records in my passports very carefully especially the US visa.
VO: What is your fiance's name?
ME: BAOBEI LOL
VO: When did you meet?
What does James do?
How many times did James come to China to see you?
How many times have you been to US visiting James?
What's your job?
Can I see your pictures?
After that I was told that I am approveed
He didn't ask for employer's letter, pay stubs, EOR letter, emails and chat logs from me during the interview.
I tried my best to remember everything as well as possible
posted by james (the lucky guy) from Weiwei's notes
In case you missed that ... yah, I'm a very lucky guy
