Review Topic: K1 Visa

Appointment scheduled for 7:30 AM. Entered the embassy approximately 7:00 AM. She was the second interview of the day. The number 1 interview didn't pass. Su couldn't tell me what the problem was though. When it was Su's turn, she was asked which language she primarily communicated with me in, she answered English. The CO told her she must interview in English. She was hoping to interview in Thai, she was already nervous enough. The interviewer asked the following questions:

* How did we meet? She works at the same office as my aunt. My aunt introduced us.

* Where did she work at? A government office

* When did we first meet in person? December 25, 2007

* When is our wedding planned? Sometime shortly after arriving in the USA

* What city does he live? Seattle (This is incorrect, Seattle is where my office is. She knows this. I think she was just confused.)

* When did you last see him? July 2009

* How many times did he come to visit you? 6 times

The interviewer quickly glanced through all the documents Su and put together, and told Su to come back next Tuesday for her visa. The whole interview lasted less a couple minutes. She was out of the embassy in less than 90 minutes. She was so excited when she called me!
