we were there at 11:40am. at security they checked our IDs then sent to 2nd floor to check in at 11:48am, then sent to 3rd floor to wait for the IO to call us. There's only 1 other couple there. they were called at 12:15pm. more couples are coming in. at 1:15pm they came out and there's issue w/ their papers and the IO had to handle that. then she called another couple that came after us. another IO came and called 2 more couples that came after us. we were wondering what's going on and wondered if we were on their list. at around 1:50pm, we were called.
she swore us in. she asked my husband his name, address, and SSN. she asked me his parent's names. she asked him criminal questions, if he receive gov't assistance, etc. then she asked why we first applied K1 then now K3. we explained that at the K1 interview there was a marriage record for my husband which is stolen identity as proven by the court w/ the priest as witness that he has never seen my husband and it was not him that he married. so when the process was done 1 1/2 yr, we got married instead of refiling K1. we had the official NSO annulment certificate from the Philippines but she wanted papers that states that he was never married that it was void at the very beginning. that will not say on the annulment docs. good thing we had the actual court doc w/ the judge's decision etc w/t he whole process. that is not usually available but we were able to get certified copies of them before when the decision was made. so she was satisfied w/ that and approved us. they should say on the requirements to require all court docs and judges' decisions and not just ceath or annulment or divorce decree/certificate because they want more. i thought those should suffice since they are official papers. well anyways, it's all good since we had the papers she wanted and my husband has the 10 yr greencard. she didn't even ask us for jt accts, pics etc, things that i really worked hard organizing. she just focused on that annulment docs and that was it. it probably took 15 mins. so Yippeee! the IO was very nice basically just checking off our info. we did not feel interogated or anything.
