I've had an overall positive experience with the Helsinki consulate. They were doing things a little slow at times but I only feel that way because I've been very anxious to get this K1 process over and done with  Reading people's posts on how things work in other countries I have nothing to complain about. The personnel at the consulate is friendly and cooperative, and as long as you have all the needed documents there really is nothing to worry about.
