My interview was scheduled for 7:30. I was there only a bit early but once I was through the security check it was close to 8 o'clock. I did not have to wait too long for the first two windows. The only disappointing moments were that I needed to take another picture since I was wearing glasses. The lady said for my visa I need pictures without glasses even though I always wear them. I told her for future applicants they should put it in the instructions. At the second window I also found out that the doctor from Leipzig did not send my medical results to the consulate even thought the examination was January 31st. (Calling the office in the afternoon, I found out that she had collected papers from various applicants to send them in at one time. That was done this week. I really hope so.)
For the 3rd window I had to wait more than 2 hours since the consular went to a lunch break what I assumed. He was very nice though and the interview was over really fast.
By the time I left the consulate it was 1 p.m.
So, all in all the interview is nothing to worry about and people are really friendly but you should expect some surprises. I thought waiting will be over now but I won't stop worrying until the medical results reach the consulate and I have the visa in my hands.
