My spouse was called for the interview at 1:00 p.m. but did not get interviewed until 3:30 p.m. The lady who interviewed her was friendly and asked the following questions:
What does your spouse do for a living?
How did you meet?
What will you do when you go to the US - study or work?
What do you do for a living?
They did not look at any of the evidence that was presented. After that she was approved for the visa and told to come the next day for pick up of the Visa.
Important Notes about the Embassy:
1. Make sure to call and tell them to mail the Packet 3 once you know they have received the Packet. Otherwise they will just sit on it.
2. Make sure to get everything done on the Packet - medical, I-134, photos, other forms as soon as possible. Once everything is turned into the Embassy they will call you in approximately 4 weeks after the local Police Certificate comes in. The sooner you turn in the Packet the sooner they can request the Police Certificate. The Police Certificate is directly obtained from the Embassy. Do not try to get one yourself as they will just reject that one.
3. The Embassy processes all K and Immigrant visas from 1 to 3 p.m on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Do not try to go any other days or times as they will just turn you away.
