Get there early!

I was applicant number 5003 and even though I was in the queue at 7:30 am, I wasn\'t first seen till 9am. And then the second part of the interview was conducted @ 10:30 - i was outta there by 10:40am!

Information Submitted....

I had to submit:
2 x passport photo\'s (american)
birth Cert (+1 copy)
Police Cert (+1 copy)
I-134 Affadavit of support
Most recent Tax return
Employer Letter
Pay stubs (we covered 2 months worth of weekly pay stubs)

We were well prepared and had 2006 / 2007 tax returns at hand, but these were not requested.

Second part of the interview (Conducted by an american consulate officer)

The following questions were asked.
*how did you meet?
*when did you first meet face to face
*when dif you first realise you wanted to be in a relationship with him?
*when did you decide to get married
*has he been to england
*was your fiance previously married? when did this marriage end? Does he have children?
*when did you meet again? and how? (testing me )
*what will you do when you get to the US?

Had a heart stopping moment when she couldn\'t find proof of david\'s divorce....but I had a copy with me!
I was asked for no proof relating to our relationship even though I had photo\'s and email\'s to hand.

Then I was handed the pink slip

I\'m going to mark it as a 4 star....because the chairs were really uncomfortable
