Review Topic: K1 Visa

The interview was relatively easy, even though we did prepare for it intensively. My SO went in at 8:30am and had to wait about an hour. The interview took no more than 10 minutes. They spent about 15 minutes looking through her documents before calling her in for the interview (she could see that, since she was close to the interview window). The questions were relatively simple.
1. Where and when did you meet your fiance (we met in a different country)
2. Why did you go to that country?
3. Do you speak English? (A: Very little)
4. Does he speak Russian? (A: Not at all)
5. Which language do you speak with each other (A: A third language)
6. Do you mean English? (A: No, a third language)
7. Wow, you speak another language! (Interviewer looked genuinely surprised)
8. Did he ever come to Russia?
9. When?
10.She offered to show the interviewer our pictures
11.Interviewer looked through couple of the pictures and asked where they were taken.

At that point the interview was over. It was a bit strange that the interviewer did not say that she got the visa. However, since they did not return the passport or give anything else to her, we are concluding that she got the visa.
