So I set off from home at 6 am thinking thats plenty of time to get to my interview at 9 am. Traffic was particularly bad, parked the card in Hammersmith caught the tube to Bond Station and ran in my 3 in heels and coat with all my paperwork to the Embassy.. I felt a million bucks.. NOT REALLY.. so thats who are having interviews soon.. the 9 am is just a guide line.. dont panic if you are little late.

Went through the line and metal detectors, was told to turn right.. I turned left.. got a telling off.. MAKE SURE YOU TURN RIGHT and go around the building.. you have to get a ticket, which i did and waited for hours for my number to be called.. THINK ARGOS.. its the same set up.. hundreds of people in 1 room waiting for their ticket number.

When my number was called went to the window the man asked for the documents, I think i was more on the ball, giving what he needed before he prompted.. sign the forms did the finger prints... paid the fees and went to sit down again for my number to be called for the interview...

I think i waited 3 hours for my interview.. When i got to the window, the man i spoke to was really nice, he asked me questions in a chat (wasnt formally structured like i expected) and then told me i would be getting my visa next week. He sent me to go pay for the courier and when I came back I was so emotional all teary eyed, and he said "dont worry Ive been on that side of the glass myself" so it was nice..

my friend had been waiting for hours outide for me and i burst out smiling so it was great..
