We were asked to proceed before the others waiting in line for other VISA's... we went it and they checked me and my fiance who was with me for the interview.. we then went in and they asked us to move to another building in the same campus and when reached were asked to submit a form and wait for you number to be called, after about 45 mins we were called to submit all evidence and documents, we had to answer a couple of questions and were told to sit again untill we are called, she also gave us a number so that we could pay the fees that we had with us as a DD from HDFC bank... once paid we sat in line for our names to be called and in about 25 mins it was our time.
A white gentleman greeted us and told my fiance that he should not answer any questions or interrupt in the interview and all questions have to be answered by me and my fiance told him he would zip lock his mouth, we all laughed and he asked me how did we meet and when, i told him the answer and he asked did your parents agree, i said yes they were the one who where lookin for a groom and wanted me to get married, he smiled and then he asked my fiance all the other questions on what were we plannint o do, when would we be traveling back and he said thank you, your approved and your visa will be mailed to you in 2 weeks, we couldnt belive what we heard and my fiance asked him to repeat and confirmed, they had a jolly good laugh at this.
The overall experience was GREAT! we started with a joke and it ended with a smile and we kissed each other as we walked out
