No major complaints! Nadezhda found three other girls outside the embassy who were there for interviews as well. The four of them went in together and could not tell where to go, and could see no obvious way to get information, so someone in the foursome asked an embassy employee for assistance and they were sent in the right direction.
The interview lasted a few minutes only. The embassy official asked the first few questions in Russian.
1. How did you meet your fiance? (Answer: website elenasmodels.com)
2. Did this website inform you about your fiance's criminal history, or lack thereof? (Answer: yes)
3. Did you communicate in Russian, or in English? (Answer: English)
----
After this answer, the embassy official starting speaking in English!
----
4. How did you communicate? (Answer: letters, phone calls)
5. Does your finace have any hobbies? What are they? (Answer: yes, music, playing drums, hiking)
There may have been another question or two, but that's all I can remember from my phone conversation with Nadezhda this morning. U.S. Embassy in Moscow gets 4/5 stars (woulda been 5/5 if someone had been there to help them when they walked in).
