Just a quick note that my husbands interview went well!
Our process started on DCFing on January 27th. I was 'approved' by the FBI on February 2, also the day for my husbands medical. We had already gotten his Police Certificate in January so waiting for that was not an issue. I contacted the call center on February 3 and asked for the next available date, including the next day if possible! We were given February 9, the following Monday.
We arrived in the rain and the guard let us stand under cover until closer to 9:30 (our time). We passed through the documents quickly and took a seat waiting to be called. The two interviews in front of us were denied BUT they called my husband's name next and he went back by himself. No questions asked! We have been married about 1 1/2 years, and had all our paperwork organized. We payed the FedEx fee and received his passport and mysterious brown envelope on Wednesday, Feb.11! We plan to fly into Cinncinatti on April 1 to visit my family (who has never met my husband) before traveling to our 'new' town!
The Kyiv Consulate was wonderful and very nice! Just make sure you have ALL needed documents and should be no problem
The only downside was the call center. I still had time on my pin number from when I made my January 27th appointment. The man who answered said I had to buy a new pin number as they can only make one appointment per pin Even though on the voice message that plays while on hold said you could use it until it ran out! I had too little time to make the appointment after I finished arguing my case and getting nowhere, to try and get a different operator. That is my only complainant!
