Interview Experience.
Everything went smoothly and the process took around two and a half hours, most of which was waiting time!
Upon arrival I was issued with a number and directed to the waiting room. And then comes the first waiting period, in my case, approximately an hour and twenty minutes. My number was eventually called and I was directed to a window/counter. My fingerprints were taken and my documents were checked and I was then asked to pay a fee of $131.00. I was then told to go back to the reception area where I would be called again.
An hour later I was called to a different window/counter where my fingerprints were checked and I had to swear an oath. I was then asked the following questions:
Are you looking forward to getting married?
How did you meet?
When did you first meet in person?
Have you ever visited the States before?
Have you ever lived anywhere outside the UK?
The consular officer was very pleasant and friendly and smiled at me throughout and then said, 'that's all fine' :-) Exit one very happy lady!
