Moscow, Russia | Review on August 20, 2008: | JulianDavid
Rating: | Review Topic: K1 Visa
The interview was much easier than I expected. I brought a bunch of papers to the embassy: the album with our pictures, the print out of all our phone conversations (for almost a year, except for our vacations together, he called me every day), a pile of our e-mails and even my correspondance with his Mom, the copy of the wjole petition package that I'd got from my fiance, all his financial papers... They only took Affidavit of support, taxes for 2007 plus W2, and the letter from employer. The consule only asked me three questions:
-Where and how did you meet?
- What is you fiance's job?
- When did he come to Russia? (here, by my own initiative, I told him in more details about David's first trip to my hometown).
So, as you can see, the questions were quite ordinary and simple
And then I heard: "Everything looks fine, you'll get you visa in a week or less"
