My wife had her interview on August 31, 2022 scheduled at 8:00 AM at the US Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.
My wife's interview lasted about 10 minutes all-in-all with Visa Officer (VO). No formal physical evidence paperwork was asked for (we came with all relevant documents).
The first 5 minutes was the visa officer checking the online submissions of our paperwork and then came these VO general questions:
- How did you meet your husband?
- Was it a love marriage or arranged marriage?
- Are you guys cousins and related?
- What did your husband study?
- What did you study?
- What does he do?
- What do you do?
- Are you planning to work in the US? What do you plan to do?
- Can I see pictures of you guys?
*Briefly looks through small photo album my wife bought*
-I see you guys have traveled outside Pakistan (looking at pictures), where did you go? (My wife answered where we went for our Honeymoon etc).
VO: Thanks, your visa has been approved and you will receive it within two weeks!
Note: My wife arrived 1.5 hours early on the day of her interview and was done with her interview under half an hour since she was one of the first in line (She was finished by 8:30 AM)
