My interview was at 8:15AM.
I showed up a bit early at 7:40AM (traffic wasn't as bad as expected) and had to wait outside. At 8:00AM I was allowed to go inside. I received a number and had to organize my documents to easily hand to the officer during my interview.
When I was called up to the window, I asked if there was a Japanese interpreter or if I could do the interview in Japanese. The officer asked me (in Japanese) if I could speak any English. I said I could speak some and she said that we would try to do it in English first (like an English teacher). The interview was easy and so I was able to do it all in English.
First I was asked to hand over my medical results, she glanced over them real quick and said it looked good. After that I was asked for my police report, and she again glanced at it real quick and said it looked good. Next I was asked to hand over my I-134 packet and she looked at the top page and said it was good (which is funny because my fiancé sent a lot of supporting documents but none of them were checked). After that we had my interview and I was asked the following questions:
1. What is your fiancé's name?
2. Where does your fiancé live?
3. How often and where have you and your fiancé met in person?
4. When are you going to the US and getting married?
After that she said that I got my visa and that it will be mailed to me.
All in all it was a very smooth experience and the interview was much easier than I thought it would be.
