Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

I had my interview at 7:30 am on a Friday morning. Arrived at 7:15 and there was a waiting line to enter the embassy
They asked for passport, interview confirmation letter and a picture.
After that you through airport style security and them to the main building.

I carried all the documents and photocopies(they didn't take the photocopies) stated on the website.

Documents asked for:

Passport
Tax returns or tax transcript
1 Photo
Birth Certificate
Police Record

Questions asked:

How did me and my wife meet?
What does she do for work?
What countries have I been before?
Is this my first marriage?
Is it her first marriage?
Do we have any children?

Where do I plan to live when I arrive?
Was also asked for photos of me and my wife.

After about 5 minutes I was told I was approved.
Medical report didn't arrive from the Doctor so I was given a 221G paper(pending medical) and told when they received the medical they would print/issue the visa.

After the visa is printed I should pick it up at the courier.

They kept my passport.

The whole process took about 25 minutes.
