Interview was at 8am and arrived about 10 minutes before. Note: you are not allowed to bring a bag with you so you have to carry your document folder in your hands.
They let you in one at a time and ask for your passport - they give it back to you with a number attached. You then get scanned and have to put keys, phone and any other electronics into a locker.
K1 waiting room is on the 1st floor and you sit and wait for them to call your number.
First called up to cubicle to hand documents. They asked for passport pictures (x2), birth certificate (original), proof of residence in the USA and all supporting financial docs. Lady was quite friendly.
Went to sit back down and waited another 20minutes to get called to the interview cubicle.
The woman took my fingerprints and then asked me briefly who was my fiancé, where he lived, what he did and how often I had been to the USA before and if I had ever been arrested. She was also friendly.
She then said she recommended that my visa be approved and if the consulate needed additional documents they would contact me via email.
And that's it !
