Visa Approved

I arrived at the consulate at 7.15 a.m. for the 7.30 interview. Was taken in, fingerprinted and then told to wait for the first interview.
The first interview was conducted by an Indian who asked me to speak in Marathi(my mother tongue) and his too. He covered questions about my mother, my maternal grandmother, where I was born, where did I live in India, who lived there now, how did I meet someone from the same caste in the US, how long did we know each other, why did we wait this long to get married,. He also returned my proof of relationship stuff that I had submitted to VFS earlier. He then told me to wait for my visa interview.
About 45 minutes after that, I was called for my interview. My interviewer was an American lady. She asked me how I had met my husband, what visa status I was on when I met him, how long I had known him, how many people were at our wedding, what was my husband doing when I met him in the US, what does he do now. She also saw our wedding photos.
She then told me my visa was approved.
