My husband arrived early for his interview. US Citizens have protocol so even though he was supposed to start at 8:00. It was a little bit after he was called. They asked for all the original documents :birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate ect. The first officer said she didn’t like his passport photo size. My husband had to get another one. The first and second officer asked these questions:
1)Who petition for you?
2)Where does your wife work and her job title?
3)What is her date of birth?
4) Have you been married before?
5) Has she been married before?
6)How many times did your wife come to Ghana?
7)What were the dates?
8)Where did we meet?
9)Do we have kids?
10) Has he been to the embassy before?
Both officers reviewed all our documents and photographs to show proof of legitimate relationship. My husband said he answered the questions in detail. They gave him the letter to read the rights he has and how to go about getting his visa. Overall positive experience besides the extensive wait times and having to re-do his picture.
