The whole process was simple easy and professionally conducted. I arrived at the Consulate at 8 45Am and was asked to wait in queue. Entered and picked up a queue number for immigration visa. Obviously I was first . At the counter I was asked to submit my documents and cashiers order. Then was asked few simple questions like where and when you met your fiance. Then I was asked to wait for the consular officer to interview me. It was a 30-40 minute wait, I was again asked a few simple questions after I was made to swear all that I say is true. He asked me: how many times your fiancee visited you?, what is she doing?, what is her dad doing?, when did she move to the US? what I am doing in Singapore? he dint even ask me when I am planning to get to the US He made me singn some document for military service if required since I am in the age group of 18-26. He took my finger prints. Then asked me about our engagement. I showed him the pictures I brought, he was quiet happy browsing through just a few. I offered him my fiancee's travel document but he said "We will just get on with it." Then he signed some papers, asked me to go over to another counter to receive further instructions where I was told to come next week same day to collect my visa, passport and packa to be shown at POE.
