Attended visa interview 11 days ago and was informed by the visa officer that my visa was approved and I gave my passport to the VO. I was told to wait for a message from Aramex to pick up my passport. However, as of today and after 12 days, the visa status on CEAC shows "Refused". When I wrote to the consul, I was informed that the visa is under administrative processing.
I am a little worried because its been 12 days and there has been no change in status. Can someone tell me how do I get to know the exact situation on my visa and how do I get to know if my visas is really approved or is it possible to go into any further processing expecting more information from me. As of now, I have submitted all required documents and the visa officer did not give any 221g form after the interview. He simply congratulated me and said visa is approved. Please let me know what you think about my situation.
