Well, everything went ok. My interview was scheduled at 1pm. I had to go to the doctor first to give her my X-rays and get the envelop I had to give at my interview. I got at the Embassy at 12:50pm, there was a family waiting in line and we had to wait about 10 minutes before getting in the Embassy. They checked my bag, took my water bottle away and my cell phone.
It took two hours to get approved... First thing I did when I arrived was to take a receipt.. Then I waited for a while before being called at a first window. They took my receipt number and my appointment letter. They told me to go sit and wait. After about 45min, they called me at another window. The person there wasn't very nice, she spoke super fast, but that was ok. She took all the documents, I-134 and other support docs, the 2 exemplaries of signed DS-156 and the DS-156K. She complained because my photos were a bit to bright for her, but she took them all the same. She also took my birth cerficate, my police record making sure I had live only in France before. Then she told me I would be called by the consul. It was another woman. She called me about 30min after. She was very nice compared to the previous woman. She asked me if I wanted to have the interview in French or English. I said English was fine. She made me sign the forms while asking me a bunch of questions. Pretty commun questions, like "where did I meet my fiance", "why did you go study in Alaska", "do you know his family", "when do you want to leave to the US", "when are you getting married". I also asked her a few questions and she answered them nicely. She also advised me about the rest of the procedure but I already knew everything. And after less than 15min, she said "visa approved, you will receive it by the beginning of next week"!!!
So, I am pretty happy about that. I didn't even have to wait too long. I remember 3 years ago, I had to go there to get a J1 visa and I had to wait for almost 5 hours at the Embassy... So this time 2 hours were not bad at all.
