Interview on 10 June for K1 visa
Arrived 25 minutes early, told to come back as they were closed for lunch
Went through security...waited.
Waited some more.
Waited...and got called. Paid.
Sat down again (I was glad I brought a book!)
Called again.
Handed in paperwork, very straightforward. but glad I went by VJ guidelines, as it meant that that I Had my DS 156K thanks to this site (I wouldn't have had it otherwise).
Sat down again and waited...then: Game On
Interview lasted oh, 10 minutes (I did have tons of pics from M's 18 months here, emails etc, plenty of evidence). Questions very straightforward. Visa approved, told to call back to collect it - name and phone no supplied by staff to arrange pickup.
Overall, I'd say pretty good, but I was left wondering what was actually going on occasionally. The place wasn't exactly crowded. Total time - 3hrs, 10 minutes.
