Total time was about 2 and a half hours. Mostly waiting. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly!
Had no issues going through security, it was done in less thab 5 minutes. Then I had to take a number and organize my file as instructed while I waited to be called. Moved to hand in my file, was asked a few simple questions: have you ever had another name, has your fiance ever had another name, have either of you been married before, do either of you have children?
Was told to go and wait to be called to provide my fingerprints. Also super quick. Then I waited for a while until I got called for my interview. (Note: you're interviewed right there at the counter in front of everyone. I wasn't expecting that!) It wasn't much of an interview, more like a conversation. The guy was extremely nice! Questions asked were:
What's your fiance's name?
Is he working at the moment? What does he do?
Where is he from? Does he still live there?
What are his hobbies? What kind of food does he like?
That's it. I wasn't asked for any additional proof of relationship, or an updated letter of intent, or anything of the sort. Interview took about 10 minutes. It was smooth and easy!
