Slightly Bonkers

Interview on 22nd May for K1 visa
Arrived about 20 mins early and went for a coffee (wanted a pint!) but probably should have waited cos when I got back there was a queue outside.
Got through security...
sat down
waited...
was called up to sign-in onto a list
waited...
was called up to hand in paperwork, very simple but glad I went by VJ guidelines, cos it didn't say in my packet 3 that I needed a DS 156K, but I had one.
waited...
was called up to pay
waited...
interview time
I was up there for about a minute, he asked
Where we met
how many years I'd gone on a J1
checked that I'd submited my Japanese police report
where we were going to live
if i liked american football
if i was going to get a cheese head (Go Packers!)
then he looked at my folder, and said "I'm sure you have some cute photos in there, so let me have a look at one so I look as though I'm doing my job"
and that was it!
He told me to wait for the hour to get my visa, but there was an issue and we all had to come back another day to collect it. I couldn't come back the next day because of work and they were very flexible about finding a time that suited.
Overall, kinda anti-climactic! But I prefer it that way!!
