I arrived about 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment. After going through security I was directed to the main building where I had to wait for a couple of minutes until I was called to the cashier's counter to pay the visa fee. At another window, I handed over my medical and my passport. After taking my fingerprints at another counter, I had to sign another form. Then the Consular Officer said: "Congratulations, you're visa is approved! You can pick up your passport next Tuesday.
I spend around 15 to 20 minutes at the Consulate. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant process. Thank you to everyone at the US Consulate in Hamilton!!!!
