The Chinese clerk was a complete auto-racist and incompetent jerk! What are the embassies doing if all they're hiring are idiots? No wonder the US reputation is slumping all over the world if all they have are these arrogant pricks working at their offices.
We went there with the intention to find out more info and get forms and go through the process of a I-130/I-129F application.
The white male/Chinese female in front of us are treated with courtesy by this racist sellout hop-sing Chinese eunuch. There was no problems as they submitted their info and obtained some forms.
However, when it's my turn, as a Chinese-American and my Chinese wife he immediately frowned and snarled at us and demanded passports. I showed him the passport and after looking at the pages and asking "What do you want?" in very rude Chinese (I speak fluent Chinese), I was told to go away because he couldn't process my passport that has already expired.
I was surprised and asked him could it expired when I recently renewed it a month ago in Hong Kong. He showed me the visa page that had "valid if enter before" such date. I already entered before that date and my visa was valid for 6 months upon date of entry, so I had plenty of time.
He just didn't want to hear it and told me to leave and sort it out with the Chinese authorities and became really obnoxious and condescending that I don't know anything about Chinese law and regulations.
At this point I spoke in English and demanded to see a supervisor who is an American citizen. He threw the curtains down on me and just left. I asked security to ring up the manager/supervisor or whoever is in charge and they said to wait until the person returned.
He opened another counter after several minutes and asked for the next person, and so I went over and stood in front and demanded to see someone.
He said he already told his manager and the guy will come out in 10 minutes. So of course after 30 minutes of wait the white manager was completely professional and tried to explain the issues. Of which, my visa did not expire as far he can tell.
However, he can't process me because I don't have the residency requirements according to his definition of somebody who has to be employed with either the state department or corporations with registration and interests for the US government.
And yet, this white-anglo US citizen manager still manages to mix up the forms and requirements for 129F for K-1 and for K-3.
Afterwards, I went to the Chinese authorities and they explained that there's no problems with my visa whatsoever and that for the consulate it's entirely USA laws on whether I can apply for residency or not.
So all-in-all, the racist behavior by this idiot Chinese eunuch gave me much consternation and problems and when I tried calling the embassy and file a complaint they just said they'll look into the matter and get back to me -- of which they never did.
It's disheartening to see how much racist behavior there is in China against other ethnic Chinese people from around the world.
Avoid this location and don't send them your money. At least they filtered out the idiots in GuangZhou probably; whereas in Beijing they got in with their connections and shady dealings and have no accountability whatsoever.
