I think our experience might be different than most.
We arrived at the Orlando Field Office about 20 minutes early. Note: Due to COVID they won't let you in more than 30 minutes before your scheduled interview. You will go thru a fairly thorough security screening. (Quite professional, but more thorough than the airport)
We checked in at the front desk. They checked my ID (passport) and my wife's (Florida ID card). (I was surprised they didn't require her passport at this point, but it was OK) You are issued a number and told to wait in a very large waiting room.
Our appointment was at 1:30pm, but don't ever county on going in at your appointment time.
Here is where things may differ from most others.
When our number was called, we went to meet the interviewer. I was told to wait outside and they will call me later. They took my wife on her own. (I'm told most couples get to go in together) I was never called.
My wife was inside for 45 minutes or so. She told me that she was asked some basic questions (where does she work?, where does she live?, etc.) The large majority of her questions were related to national security (i.e. "Are you a terrorist?", "Do you plan to work to overthrow the government?", "Are you a spy for your home country?") They also asked if she ever murdered one or more people. (Fortunately, that's not an experience she's ever had)
The only questions related to our relationship was "When did you get married?" and "What address do you live?"
The interviewer had all of our previously submitted paperwork, including her 2x2 photos. He did comment that she had cut her hair since then.
At the conclusion he said "Unless something comes up in your background check, you will pass." He said to expect her Green Card in 3 to 6 weeks. (The only status hasn't changed yet)
So .... that was our experience.
The Orlando Field Office is very nice, and without exception the staff is extremely polite and professional.
We are hoping for a positive outcome. We will update our timeline when it happens.
