Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We had our interview yesterday. We arrived about 10 minutes early, went through security (had to take off shoes and everything) then up an elevator to the second floor where we provided our interview notice to the receptionist and were told to wait for our name to be called. We were called in about 20 minutes later. The officer was very friendly, she said she had reviewed our entire file already and had no questions as to the validity of our relationship. She asked if we had any updated evidence to add, so I gave her new documents including photos. She looked through it quickly and asked who two of the people in one photo were (my mom and husbands mom, so she confirmed our families have met) She went over the information on the I-485, updated our address and work history and then went through the yes/no questions. She asked what date we got married, who handles the finances in our home, why we moved to Virginia. The whole interview was only about 20 minutes long and very laid back. Smooth process over all.
