My interview was on April 24.
This is how it went...
we got there at 8:00 am even though we knew that it would be better to go there at 7:30 due to my leg injury in a car accident the day before the intervew.
we went through the airport like security at 8:30 and was told to go to 19th floor taking the elevator...we did that and went to window 14 as it was instucted by officer downstairs. then she asked to see the passport and the xpresspost envelop ans she said that that was the right size and she gave us a number ticket and told us to wait to call back.
We waited around 20 minutes and then our number came up and we went to window 9. We went to window 9 and there was a nice guy there. he asked for out interview letter, medical report, passport and the pics. he chatted with us about how we met and what i did and what my husband did for a living while he went through his procedure on computer. he was very friendly and nice. then he told us to go back to waiting area and said that we will be called back for finger printing. we were called for fingerprinting at 10: 15 around and we went and got my fingerprinting done and told again to wait for an interview.
it was around 11:20 and we were called for in room 8, we went in and there were this guy who was very friendly and we were put to ease at a second! he just asked how we ment and then my husband and him started talking about sports stuff for a min or so and then he said that u are aprroved and that passport and a sealed envelope will be mailed to you.. and we said byes and then we went downstairs...it was around 12:00 when we got out of the consulate.
so all in all...it was a pleasant experience!!
i give 10/10..
I hope that everyone gets through this process as easily as we have gone through...god bless all and good luck in this process.
