Guayaquil, Ecuador | Review on March 6, 2020: | Shawn_Lock
Rating: | Review Topic: IR-2 Visa
This review is for my (both unmarried/ under 21) step children. We arrived 90 minutes before the 12:55pm appointment. There was no line. I (the petitioner) was not allowed to go in with the kids. Only my spouse was allowed in.
They waited until they were called (12:45pm). The interview was pretty smooth. Surprisingly, it was mostly my spouse doing the talking. They basically reviewed the same evidence that was presented for our Adjustment of Status interview.
The whole interview was approximately 30 minutes with approval.
Visas are processed and mailed two days later to Quito. We emailed shortly after receiving an email that the visas were being processed and requested a pickup in Guayaquil due to emergency circumstances which was granted.
I was very happy with the Guayaquil Consulate.
