Fenja Rating:	Review Topic: K1 Visa My appointment was on February 18, 2020 at 9:30am. I went to the Consulate at 8:45am. My fiancÃ© came with me and was able to go into the Consulate with me (they were very nice about it). He got a little card with an A on it to show that he can come in with me. I was waiting in line for 30 minutes before entering the little security area (like an airport security area). At the reception I got a piece of paper explaining the process and where I had to go etc. Everyone was super nice. When it was time for my interview the women made take an oath to tell the truth and told my fiancÃ© that itâ€™s fine for him to be there, but that he should just listen and not answer, since it was my interview . She then proceeded to ask me the following questions: - When are you planning to travel to the US? - Who is your sponsor? - When and where did you meet? - Did you have a continuous relationship since then? - Was either of you previously married? - Any kids? - Tell be about your plans for the wedding. After I answered everything she said that my visa was approved and gave me my original documents back. All in all it took around 2,5 hours and was a good experience. The next day my case tracker showed that my visa had been issued.
