I got to the front doors at 6:45 a.m. The officer opened the doors at 7:30. He asked to see my appointment letter and then let me in through the front doors. I went through the security and they gave me "A" card and then switched it to "B" card and gave the "A" to the guy who was in line after me. I went downstairs to wait for afew more people and then an officer came down and escorted us to the 19th floor where we had to take a seat. Our letters were called out in order. When she asked for "B" I had to give her my appointment letter and my passport. I had to go to the other room to wait till "my name" was called this time. The second time I had to go to the window, she asked for the I-134 application, 2006 and 2007 of my husband's tax return and his letter of employment. That was all they asked for. Then she told me to go to window 14 to pay my $131- U.S. for the administration fee. Then I had to wait again. I was called for the third time to the window to get my fingerprints done. When I had to go back and wait again. After 29 minutes, I was called into Room 8 where the interview was. The gentlemen was very very very nice. He was standing behind a bullet proof window. He asked me some questions and wrote alot as I was answering. In the end he saw I was approved and that I would get my passport back within 10 days. I got it back in 2 days. These are the questions he asked me,
"How is your husband's job?"
"Please thank him for me for his 32 years of service in the army."
"What will I be doing in the u.s. for work?"
"Who is the better record-keeper between me and my husband."
"He told me to keep my xrays and give them to my new doctor in the u.s."
So he didn't ask for any evidence of a bondified relationship. Gosh, I had so much paperwork and he didn't ask to see any of it.
I was out of the building by 9:30 a.m. By the time I left the waiting room it was packed with people. I hope I didn't miss anything but I'm sure I did.
