We had a straightforward experience. We had a 7 am "appointment," but we knew that it really is first come first served. We arrived around 6 am and stood in line outside. Around 6:30 we were allowed to enter and go through security. Needed for this was our appointment confirmation paper and passports. We were brought to a courtyard where we sat and waited for further directions. About 10 minutes later we were brought inside where our appointment paper was checked again and were issued a ticket with a number. We stood again in a line, in order by ticket number and waited to be seen at a window. We were asked for contact information and my fiance turned in his medical results, police certificate, and birth certificate. We were asked a few basic questions and then told to go around the corner to wait for our number to be called. We waited for about an hour? (not totally sure because there are no clocks in there!) as they called numbers to the windows. There were 6 windows designated for our group of people, and then two other sections of windows being used for other things. They mostly went in order with the numbers, but sometimes out of order. Finally we got seen (we were number 29) and were asked approximately 20 questions. The woman who interviewed us was very nice the whole time and spoke in both Spanish for him and English for me. She told us we were approved, gave us an instruction sheet, and sent us on our way! She did not ask to see any of our gathered evidence. We were thrilled and walked out of there on a cloud!
