We had our interview yesterday....man that was TOO EASY!! We were approved!! My wife got a I-551 stamp on her passport and the lady said she would get her green card in 2 weeks! Afterwards we rushed to Social Security, showed the stamp and applied for SS. They said she would get it in 3-4 weeks.
The lady basically wanted to confirm with my wife if she knew her address, phone number and get this her parents names. LOL. She asked questions from the I-485 form I believe. We brought a bunch of pictures to the room and she asked, "what's that?" We said "pictures", and she looked surprised like it was something new to bring pictures to an interview. She then said "ok let's see them" as if she wasn't expecting to see pictures. We showed her pics of our civil wedding, pics of our travels to Reno, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, pics with my family and friends, etc. She then said ok I'm going to put this stamp on her passport so you can go to SS and show them this to get her a SSN. It was over in 10 minutes.
