Overall experience was good one. Got to the embassy around 8am, my fiance went in right away. There is a large crowd at that time but not everyone is in line. When called by the officer she went to his window and was very pleasant. Ask a few of the normal questions, where I lived, how I became a citizen, if she planned to work in the US. He flipped through the packet we sent with the 129F petition. Looked up something on the computer and then asked her to sit down and she would be called back to the window. After about an hour they called her back up and presented her with a 221G with no reasoning. No further docs were needed. Most likely they needed to do further background checks. She already had a tourist Visa which he annuled because the K1 was in process. My Fiance was in shock but he said that everything was going to be ok and said he would personally work on our case. She asked why the 221G but they are not allowed to tell you why. So that same day we went to AP and became a wait game. Overall the officer was doing his job and was pleasant and understanding. Though we were not happy and stressed that we did not get an approval that day he made it feel very promising. 5 weeks later we went from AP to issued. We will never know why the 221G. But what matters is that it was approved. The consulate and the area contrarily what some say, we felt safe and secure. One thing we learned is that every case is different and you camt always compare to what others go through. Have lots of patience and hope and everything will turn out as you wish. Best luck to you all. I only give it a 4 because we didn't get approved that same day
