We had a very smooth experience after transferring to Ankara from Frankfurt.
This embassy allows applicants to take p3 documents to the interview itself (instead of sending them in the mail separately) - which was very much appreciated.
We emailed the embassy a few times during the process and they were always quick to respond.
Once our application was received by Ankara, we used some browser plug-ins to help us check the scheduling website constantly throughout the day (there were no dates available at first). Even doing this, we ended up waiting 2.5 months for our interview.
The interview itself was pleasant with friendly staff and no surprises. The interview itself was conducted in English and lasted only about five minutes, after about a three hour wait. Questions included: How long were you together? Where is the petitioner working? How many times have you seen each other in the last year? What is his favorite food? Have you met each others' families?
Overall, we were super happy with our experience with Ankara (especially considering our awful experience with Frankfurt before transferring).
